A thief drilled or cut holes in the back of a company van parked at a Premier Inn.
Herts Police are investigating the theft after items were stolen from the Vauxhall Vivaro which had been parked overnight in at the hotel in Water Lane, Watford.
It is though to have taken place between 5.30pm on Wednesday night (September 6) and 6.30am the following morning.
“Suspects gained entry to the vehicle by drilling/cutting a hole in the rear doors,” the force said. “After gaining entry, items were taken.”
The suspects then made off in an unknown direction.
Officers are continuing to investigate and anyone with information on the theft has been asked to call 101 quoting crime reference 41/71615/23.

Burglary
Earlier this week, the force issued another appeal after a Tolpits Lane home was broken into, between 4.30pm and 11.06pm on Saturday (September 2).
Glass was smashed and the home was ransacked in a search of the address.
Smashing the front door is believed to be how the offender(s) gained entry.
The force is seeking further information on the offence and anyone with information or relevant CCTV/doorbell camera footage can call 101 quoting crime reference number 41/70359/23.
