The former McDonald’s unit in Watford High Street is now on the market after closing.
The branch opposite Watford Market shut in 2019 and has been boarded up ever since.
Its 1,663-square-foot unit, around three-fifths of a tennis court, could now be taken over by a new business if they are willing to pay the £5,833 rent each month, or £70,000 per year.

Described as “available now” by commercial property specialists Brasier Freeth, the leasehold only covers the ground floor of the building.
The fast-food giant said the decision to close the restaurant was “not taken lightly” but did not reveal the reason.
Staff were apparently given the opportunity to work in other stores nearby.
The nearest McDonald’s is just down the high street opposite one of the entrances to atria Watford.
When the store closed, a spokesman for the company said: “We are sad to confirm that one of our restaurants in The Parade closed permanently on Sunday, May 12.
“The decision to close the restaurant was not taken lightly and all members of staff have been offered employment in our other restaurants nearby.”
