Watford Junction trains are set to be delayed and cancelled after overhead wires were damaged.
National Rail has confirmed that ongoing disruption between Watford Junction and London Euston was caused by the damaged wires, and that this has blocked some lines this afternoon (September 7).
It was first reported at 4.37pm and the disruption is expected to clear at around 5.30pm, but this is only an estimated time and could change.
Update: Disruption is now expected until around 10pm
“Services running between these stations may be cancelled or delayed by up to 20 minutes,” the National Rail website added.
