A road is set to completely close at a bridge over a railway line for a bollard to replace a sign.
Oxhey Road, near the junction with Laurel Close, will be shut from 9.30am until 2.45pm on Monday September 11.
A temporary keep left sign is set to be replaced with a permanent lit bollard just before the width restriction leading to the bridge, Hertfordshire County Council explained.

A diversion route will send motorists to Bushey Arches. Travelling east to west this would involve going onto Oxhey Avenue, Aldenham Road, Chalk Hill, the A4125, and then back onto Oxhey Road.
The works description adds that emergency access will be maintained at all times and the footway will not be closed.

Ongoing road closure in Watford
Drivers are also being warned of delays as a section of St Albans Road, Watford, is being closed overnight for drainage investigation works.
The road is due to be shut to vehicles between Leavesden Road and Balmoral Road from 10pm to 5am each night, until 5am on Friday September 8.
A diversion uses routes including Hempstead Road and A41 North Western Avenue to link back up with St Albans Road.
