If approved, the five homes will also include a bedroom-snug or playroom on the ground floor in case the home needs to be adapted for elderly residents.

In the floor plan, the the two three-storey homes include two master bedrooms that each come with a walk-in wardrobe, an en-suite and a balcony.

On the top floor a study has also been included.

A pantry room, boot room, utility space and downstairs WC are also on the house plans and each garden comes with a cycle storage.

The homes have been designed with pitched roofs for solar panels and off-street parking.

It comes after the developers initially discussed building nine homes on the plot during the pre-app advice stage, but they were advised against this.
