A man is fighting for his life after being hit by a bus this morning (August 30).
At around 7.20am today, police were called to the collision in Porters Park Drive at the junction with Grace Avenue in Shenley.
It involved a Volvo bus and a man in his 50s, who was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Officers and the East of England Ambulance attended alongside the air ambulance.
PC Peter Hoddy, from the serious collision investigation unit, said: “Following the events of Wednesday morning, we are continuing with our investigation, and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision or has information to come forward.
“We particularly want to hear from the lady who was on the bus at the time of the incident as she may have vital information to assist with our enquiries.
“Additionally, we would like anyone who was driving in the area at the time, to check their dashcam and anyone who lives in the area to review their ring doorbell footage.”
Information can be given to the police via 101 and the reference number ISR 97 of 30 August can be quoted.
