A former rival has submitted plans as part of its takeover of Camelot's former Watford office.
Allwyn will take control of the National Lottery from Camelot on February 1, 2024, after officially being awarded the licence by the UK Gambling Commission.
After the Czech lottery-operator confirmed it would retain Watford as the home of the National Lottery last year, it has now submitted plans to replace the Camelot signage at the Tolpits Lane office with Allwyn signs.
The plan appeared on the Three Rivers District Council Planning Portal this week and is available to view and comment on.

Allwyn previously confirmed it had agreed a deal on an additional office in Watford, Iveco House above Watford Junction train station, alongside the existing Camelot headquarters in Tolpits Lane.
The office opening was intended to ensure Allwyn and Camelot can “work collaboratively to deliver the transition successfully”.

Retailers will have until December to transfer their agreements from Camelot to Allwyn after the ten-year license was awarded in September 2022.
Allwyn, previously known as Sazka, runs lotteries in Austria, Italy, and Greece and agreed a deal to buy Camelot UK in November 2022.
