The body of a man who had been reported missing has been found, police have confirmed this afternoon.

Officers had appealed for help tracing Joshua from Croxley Green yesterday after he was last seen on Sunday between 5.30pm and 6.30pm.

A Herts Police spokesperson said: “Officers searching for missing Joshua, aged 32, from Croxley Green, sadly found the body of a man at around 3pm yesterday (Tuesday 22 August).

“The death is not currently being treated as suspicious, and a file will be prepared for the coroner.

“His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by our officers.

“We ask that his family's privacy be respected at this difficult time.”

At around 3.15pm yesterday, road closures were put in place in Croxley Green which was linked to the incident.
