Cars were unable to use a route after a fly-tipper dumped rubbish in the middle of the road.
Barnes Lane, near Kings Langley, was blocked yesterday morning (August 17) as the fly-tip prevented vehicles getting through.
Hertfordshire County Council confirmed that the offence was reported to it and that a highways crew cleared the obstruction at around 1pm that day.

The pile appeared to contain cardboard boxes, furniture, and other items that would have required a relatively large vehicle to transport them to the spot they were dumped.
Locals who were saw the mound while it was blocking the road claim there was an address visible on some of the items.
Dacorum Borough Council’s fly-tip case team has been contacted for more information.
Around this time last year, on August 27, 2022, a Watford man dumped 20 sacks of rubble and soil in the same road.
Gary Davison, of Walters Court, was ordered to pay £420 after admitting to fly-tipping.
