A man in his 60s has died as a major road was closed, police have confirmed.
Officers said they were called by the ambulance service at around 1.50pm today (August 17) during an incident at the Beehive Café and Takeaway in Market Street, Watford.
It was reported the man was suffering from a medical episode.

Officers attended alongside the East of England Ambulance Service and road closures on Market Street were also put in place.
A Herts police spokesperson said: “Despite the best efforts of paramedics, the man sadly died at the scene.
“His next of kin have been informed, and our thoughts are with his friends and family at this sad time.”
His death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
The road closure that were put in place have since been lifted.
