Traffic was blocked when a falling tree hit and damaged a car in Watford.
Despite a lack of strong winds, the large tree came down onto a vehicle in the A41, between Hunton Bridge and The Dome roundabout.
After being called to the scene at 5.31pm yesterday (August 13), Herts Police have confirmed that no one was injured.
The force put a lane closure in place around the fallen tree while it was cleared.
Herts Police said: “A car was damaged by the tree but thankfully nobody was injured.
“Officers attended the scene to deal with the incident along with the Highways agency.”
