Buses are set to replace trains on a Watford line for more than six hours while another route also faces cancellations.
National Rail has warned that there will be disruption on the Abbey Line, between Watford Junction and St Albans Abbey, for much of the day due to “a crew member being unavailable”.
Services early this morning were heavily delayed before it was confirmed at 8.33am that all trains will be replaced by buses until around 3.15pm.

The description said: “Due to a member of train crew being unavailable between Watford Junction and St Albans Abbey, trains will be cancelled."
“You may be entitled to compensation if you experience a delay in completing your journey today," it added.

There are also cancellations for Watford Junction journeys to and from London Euston, due to another incident at Birmingham International.
A train had broken down at the Birmingham Station and disruption is expected until 10am. The 9.33am, 10.02am, and 10.33am trains from Watford Junction to London Euston are listed as cancelled.
Ticket acceptance is available for both routes.
