A man has been charged with dangerous driving after a police chase ended in a crash in Watford.
On Tuesday (August 8), a pursuit in Tolpits Lane was caught on video just as a Range Rover clipped a tree and flipped onto its side in the road.
A 23-year-old was arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle, driving whilst disqualified, and having no insurance.
Today (August 10), Herts Police confirmed that Hussain Yaqoob, of Addiscombe Road, Watford, has been charged with driving otherwise in accordance with a licence, dangerous driving, failing to stop, and driving without insurance.
The 23-year-old has been released on bail and is due to attend St Albans Magistrates' Court on September 8.
In the video, recorded at 5.19pm, a car with no number plate rounds a corner onto the main section of Tolpits Lane at speed while being pursued by a police car with its sirens on.

Once travelling north, it appears to hit a tree and flip onto its side, before its pursuer stops behind it.
There is a traffic island in the middle of the road, slightly before being opposite the tree. The crash appears to have torn off part of the bark of the tree.
The male driver, the car’s only occupant, was uninjured.
