A five-ton gas leak has caused major delays for Watford Junction commuters.
The lineside leak happened near the Harrow and Wealdstone railway causing disruption between Euston and Rugby.
While fire and emergency services were dealing with the leak, power to the overhead lines in the area had been switched off, preventing any trains from running through the area.

Lines reopened at around 12.51pm but some services will still be cancelled or severely delayed by up to 60 minutes.
National rail has said major disruption is expected until 3pm.

Due to the delays and despite the lines reopening, tickets can be used on other services.
Trains which would run between Clapham Junction and Watford Junction will instead run between Clapham Junction and Shepherd's Bush.
Avanti West Coast customers can use a number of lines including, Chiltern Railways between Birmingham Moor Street and London Marylebone.

Services may still be cancelled or severely delayed by up to 60 minutes. Major disruption is expected until 15:00
London Northwestern Railway users can use their tickets at no extra cost on East Midlands Railway between Crewe and Derby and between Derby and London St Pancras International.
Passengers can also use London buses between Watford Junction and London Euston.
National rail has advised customers to allow an extra 30 minutes if they choose to use alternative routes for their journey.
