Police seized weapons - including an axe - and made an arrest during a Watford car stop early this morning.
Just before 2am (August 8) Herts Police officers on patrol stopped a Ford Focus in Upton Road, near the town centre.
A search revealed multiple weapons including knives, a hammer, an axe, and a crowbar.

Officers recovered the weapons and arrested a woman on suspicion of drug driving and possession of an offensive weapon. She was also arrested on suspicion of burglary in connections with a tool theft in Markyate in May this year.
The 44-year-old remains in police custody after the weapons were seized.
The search was carried out by Three Rivers’ Intervention Team 1 under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act.
Sharing the positive result, the force added: “While the majority of Watford is tucked up and getting some well-earned shuteye, our intervention teams are out proactively patrolling the streets in the small hours.”
Update: She has been released on police bail while enquiries continue.
