Two of the three southbound lanes between Junctions 4 and 2 of the A1M, near Hatfield Tunnel, were closed this morning (August 1) due to the crash.
The closure caused “severe” 40-minute delays against expected traffic, according to National Highways, and there were approximately 4 miles of congestion on approach to the scene.
