After the NHS surveyed patients on their experience with their GP, the results show which are easiest to contact.
Earlier this week the Watford Observer covered the overall satisfaction scores given to GPs after 2023’s GP Patient Survey.
The thorough annual assessment also covers specific questions about each practise, with one question being how easy it is to get through to the GP practice by phone.

The best and worst performing surgeries for overall satisfaction again perform near the top and bottom of this list but there are a different first and last place.

Abbotswood Medical Centre, in College Road, Abbots Langley, was the easiest to contact over the phone with 79 per cent positive responses.
Meanwhile Watford Health Centre, in Upton Road, patients had the hardest time, according to the survey, with just 28 per cent saying it was easy.

The national average score was 50 per cent in the category.
