Drivers using some major routes in the area are warned they may experience delays to their journeys due to upcoming roadworks.
Aldenham Road and Rickmansworth Road are among the locations work where work is due to take place before the middle of August.
The following information is sourced the One.Network website and is a selection of some of the works planned to happen over the next two weeks:
- A road closure in Cassiobury Drive, Watford, is due to be in place until Thursday, August 3 for repair and maintenance works by Affinity Water. The closure is located towards the Peace Drive end of the road.
- Green Lane, Watford – just past Nancy Downs to Oxhey Road – is set to be shut to motorists between 9.30am and 4pm from Sunday to Wednesday for roadworks.
- Multi-way traffic signals are set to be in use in Baldwins Lane, Croxley Green, while Affinity Water carry out repair and maintenance works from Monday to Wednesday. The works are due to take place near the junction with Grove Crescent.
- Also from Monday to Wednesday, Affinity Water are scheduled to be carrying out more works in The Avenue, Bushey, where two-way traffic signals will be in use.
- Virgin Media are due to be undertaking works in Lower Paddock Road, Watford, from Tuesday to Thursday, August 3.
- Delays are likely due to Cadent installing a new gas service connection in Aldenham Road, Bushey, from August 7 to August 10. Two-way traffic lights will be in use during this time.
- Repairs and maintenance work by Affinity Water may cause delays to drivers using Rickmansworth Road, Watford, from August 8 to August 9. The work is advertised as due to take place near the junction with Harwoods Road and traffic lights will be in use.
- Thames Water are set to carry out repair and maintenance works in Market Street, Watford, from 10pm on August 10 to 5.30am the following day. Multi-way traffic lights will be used while the work take place.
