A man has been sentenced in connection with recent attempted car break-ins in Oxhey.
Ryan Gallagher, 31, pleaded guilty to vehicle interference and obstructing an officer on Tuesday, July 25, at Hatfield Magistrates' Court.
It related to offences in Haydon Road, Watford, on Monday, July 24.
Gallagher, of Fairfield Close, Radlett, was given six months' prison, suspended for 21 months.
He is subject to a supervisory order over the 21 months, with any breaches being dealt with.
A 27-year-old woman from Watford, who was also arrested on suspicion of interfering with a motor vehicle, was given a conditional caution.

Escaped prisoner
In an unrelated incident, police are looking for an escaped prisoner, who they believe visits the Watford area frequently.
Thames Valley Police are appealing for help tracing a man who absconded from HMP Springhill, in Buckinghamshire, on Saturday, July 22.
The force said Michael Wright, who was convicted in 2018 for robbery, was last seen in central Milton Keynes later that day but is "believed to frequent the Watford area".
