There is massive travel disruption from Watford after police were called to an incident on a railway.
National Rail has confirmed that emergency services are dealing with an incident near the tracks between Milton Keynes Central and London Euston today (July 24).
All lines remain closed as of 7.20pm and disruption is expected between the stations until the end of the day as trains may be “cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised”.
Update: British Transport Police have since confirmed a man was pronounced dead
The incident was first reported to National Rail at 6.34pm.
Ticket acceptance is in place with Avanti West Coast and London Northwestern Railway via any reasonable route.

According to National Rail’s live departures board all trains until 7.44pm, as well as many after then, departing from Watford Junction are delayed or cancelled.

Some Hemel Hempstead, Birmingham New Street, London Euston, and East Croydon services have been cancelled.
London Northwestern Railway said: “Due to the emergency services dealing with an incident near the railway between Milton Keynes Central and London Euston the line is blocked.”
It has not been confirmed exactly where along the line the incident is.
