A gang of men wearing balaclavas attacked a property with machetes and baseball bats following a row.
Four to five men were seen targeting the address in Whippendell Road, Watford, at around 6.30pm yesterday (July 23).
Herts Police said it happened after an earlier “verbal altercation” in Rose Gardens, between 2.30pm and 2.50pm, which saw a man threatened with a weapon.
During the property attack, the alarm was raised and the men fled in a dark coloured vehicle. No injuries were reported during either incident, but patio doors were cracked.
Armed police and a dog unit scoured the area during a manhunt, though no one was found, a force spokesperson confirmed this morning.
