Resurfacing works which will require Watford residents to move their cars have been pushed back.
Leavesden Road, in North Watford, was set to be resurfaced between July 24 and 27, but this will no longer go ahead.
Herts Highways will instead be replacing the old surface from August 17 to 22.
It also reminded locals that any cars they intend to use during that period must be removed 30 minutes before work starts at 9.30am.

Work from 118 Leavesden Road, between Diamond Road and Acme Road, to 61 Leavesden Road, between Garfield Street and Parker Street, will be done on August 17 and 18.
For the stretch of road from the junction with St Albans Road to 61 Leavesden Road, work will take place on August 21 and 22.
On each day work will end at 4pm, to minimise disturbance as the road will be closed for the works.
