A man has been jailed after attacking a girl and making racially aggravated threats towards police.
Jake Smith, of no fixed address, had faced six charges over alleged offences in Watford and Bushey on May 9 and 10.
Although no evidence was offered for four of the charges, which were dismissed, he was found guilty of assaulting a girl by beating her in Bushey on May 9. Court documents from a hearing in May said that the girl was under 18.

Smith was also found guilty of using racially aggravated threatening, abusive, or insulting words or behaviour towards the police officer, in Watford on May 10, which was intended to provoke violence or the fear of violence.
He had denied both charges in May but was found guilty and sentenced at Stevenage Magistrates' Court on Monday (July 17).
The 23-year-old was jailed for a total of 12 weeks and ordered to pay £1,074 including £620 in costs.
The dismissed charges were for threats towards the girl and a separate man, assaulting the police officer, and possessing an offensive weapon (a sharpened rock) at Bushey Train Station.
