Council officers have applied for a removal order after an unauthorised traveller camp stayed put in a car park.
Herts Police became aware of the camp in Altham Way, South Oxhey, last Friday (July 7).
A week later it still has not moved and instead two more caravans have apparently arrived.
- Traveller camp couldn't be removed due to 'clerical blunder'

- Gang stops Watford lorry and steals £17,000 of goods
The landowner, Three Rivers District Council, had tasked an external agency with serving a notice requiring them to vacate earlier in the week. But due to a “clerical error”, a new notice had to be given yesterday morning with a 7.30pm deadline.
“That deadline has now passed and at this time caravans remain on site,” confirmed a council spokesperson.
“The council has therefore referred the matter to St Albans Magistrates' Court and applied for a removal order - an order requiring the travellers to leave the car park under section 68 Criminal Justice & Public Order Act 1995.”
The court will consider the application at 2pm today.
