A large stretch of a high street will be closed from 8am to 5pm due to roadworks.
Hertfordshire County Council has announced that resurfacing work will take place on the A4251 Hempstead Road and High Street, Kings Langley from July 26 to August 1.
Works will be carried out from the junction of Rucklers Lane to the junction of Church Lane.
Currently, the council has not outlined where a diversion route will take place while Kings Langley’s main road is closed.

The council has asked that all cars are removed from the road between these dates at least 30 minutes before work begins.
In a letter sent to shop keepers, the council said: “Vehicles may not be allowed access through the road closure during the works, except emergency vehicles.”
The council added that work will not take place over the weekend and that its website www.hertfordshire.gov.uk/roadclosures should be visited for more updates.
