A man has been arrested after someone was struck with a glass bottle in Watford.
Two people were involved in a confrontation at around 2.30pm on Friday, July 7, on a grass area next to Church Street.
During the row, a man allegedly hit the victim with a glass bottle – causing injury – in what police described as a “terrible ordeal” for them.
A 47-year-old man from Bushey was arrested on suspicion of assault (ABH) and possession of cannabis. He has since been released on bail while enquiries continue.

Herts Police appealed for witnesses today (July 12) and encouraged anyone with information to report it via non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 41/47602/23.
Assault in Croxley Green
In an unreleated incident, a young man was assaulted in Croxley Green on Sunday, July 9.
The 19-year-old was attacked at 1.27am between All Saints Church and Yorke Road, with the attacker described as a male wearing a black puffer jacket and joggers.
He was reportedly on a push bike when he assaulted the victim, but was later seen stumbling up Yorke Road.
