A motorcyclist was taken to hospital following reports of a "very bad accident" near a village high street this morning.
Police were called by the ambulance service at 8.03am today (July 11) after a black Volkswagen Golf and a motorbike crashed on the A4251 Watford Road, near to the junction with Jubilee Walk in Kings Langley.
Police said that one man, the rider of the motorbike, was taken to hospital.
An East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust spokesperson said the man was taken to Watford General Hospital for further assessment and care.
The driver of the Volkswagen remained at the scene and no arrests have been made.
While ambulance crews attended, one lane remained open.
One person described it as a “very bad accident” on social media and another said they saw “buses being rerouted, so nothing is coming through the high street at the moment”.
