A local “popular” convenience store has been sold to an “experienced operator” after the seller received multiple offers in less than a week.
A-Z Convenience Store, in Berry Lane, Rickmansworth was bought by a local operator, Mr Singh, who is set to take over the store as part of his portfolio of stores.
Business property advisor Christie & Co, which brokered the deal, described the shop as a “well-presented store”, that is “popular among the community due to the wide range of items on offer including confectionary, chilled and frozen food, tobacco, and alcohol”.

It added that several offers had been made in the first week of marketing, due to the currently "very strong" market for convenince stores.
James Matson, from Christie & Co, said: “This was a wonderful sale to be involved with.
“Our client was a pleasure to work alongside from start to finish and we’re thrilled that Mr. Singh was able to complete his purchase of the business with the support of our sister company, Christie Finance.”
