A man has been charged with several crimes after allegedly threatening someone with a weapon while stealing alcohol.
Several bottles of booze were stolen from Tesco Express in Watling Street, Radlett, at around 12pm on Tuesday, June 27.
Police were called and tracked the suspect, who had boarded a train towards Borehamwood, before it was stopped and he was arrested.
A knife was recovered along with bottles of alcohol, Herts Police said.

Brian Frame, 35, of no fixed address, was subsequently charged with theft from a shop and threatening a person with an offensive weapon.
Following further enquiries, he was also charged with robbery and possession of a bladed article, in connection with an incident at the Local Supermarket in Shenley Road, Borehamwood, on May 4.
He appeared before Hatfield Remand Court yesterday (June 28) and was remanded into custody.
Frame is next due to appear at St Albans Crown Court on Wednesday, July 26.
