A pedestrian in her 80s is fighting for her life after being struck by a car.
The crash in Watling Street, Radlett, involved a gold Vauxhall Grandland on the southbound carriageway, near Oakridge Avenue, at around 1.30pm yesterday (June 27).
The woman was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries while the driver remained at the scene, Herts Police said this afternoon.
No arrests have been made.

Sergeant Timothy Davies, from the road policing unit, said enquiries are ongoing and urged anyone with information to contact the force.
He added: “Did you see what happened, or have any information that may help our enquiries?
“Additionally, if you were driving in the area and have a dash cam fitted, please check it as you may have recorded come crucial footage that could assist our investigation.”
