A consultation has been launched over council plans to introduce 20mph zones in 42 Watford roads.
Hertfordshire County Council is seeking residents' views on potentially lowering speed limits around west Watford and Cassiobury Park.
It says the aim is to improve safety for walkers, cyclists and drivers.

The consultation will close on July 24 at 11.45pm, and the council has agreed that for the scheme to move forward a 10 per cent response rate will be needed and of those the majority must be in favour.

In a letter sent to residents, it said there is a chance that the council may decide to not continue with the proposal any further.
