Paramedics pronounced a person struck by a train dead at the scene after all rail lines were blocked for emergency services.
British Transport Police have confirmed that a person died at Bushey train station yesterday (June 21) after officers, alongside paramedics, attended reports of a casualty on the tracks at 1.54pm.
The force's statement added: "This incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”

There was major disruption to rail services as all lines were blocked at Bushey.
The lines had reopened at Bushey by 4.30pm but the disruption remained well into the evening with delays of up to 90 minutes.
Power to the lines was switched off as police and paramedics responded at the tracks, with 14 emergency vehicles spotted at the scene.
National Rail shared the following message: “If you’ve been affected by what happened on the network today, there is always someone to talk to.
