Watford motorists woke to find paint had been poured over their vehicles last night.
Hertfordshire Constabulary have asked anyone who saw anything suspicious or that might otherwise help them with their enquiries to come forwards, via the Online Watch Link (OWL).
The "damage to vehicle", reported today (June 15), was committed last night (June 14) or early this morning.
Two vehicles in Whippendell Road, near the bottom end after Hagden Lane, were hit. A can of paint was left at the scene.

Another appeal
Later this morning, the force released a second OWL appeal for information after property was stolen from a vehicle in Printers Avenue, Watford, between 7am and 9.30am on Tuesday (June 13).
The vehicle was left securely locked but the unknown offender or offenders still gained access. The force have asked anyone who saw anything or has doorbell/CCTV footage to get in touch.
The relevant crime reference is 41/47224/23.
