A Post Office that had to close due to a fire has revealed the month it expects to reopen.
The Pond Post Office in The Parade, Watford, has placed a sign outside its window that it will be closed until July.
A fire broke out in the store on April 7 at around 4.20am.
Although Hertfordshire firefighters said that “a small fire” had occurred the flats above the shop, severity of the damage forced the building to stay shut.

The Post Office was unable to find a new location and customers were directed to nearby branches.
A Post Office spokesperson said: “We’re sorry that customers of Pond Street Post Office have not been able to use the branch due to a fire in April.
"We’ve recently been informed that it’s safe to now go inside the premises and we’re looking to meet with the Postmaster who operated the branch and our own property team to understand when the branch will be able to reopen fully.”
