A South Oxhey man has been jailed for 12 weeks after beating a woman in a series of “domestic" incidents.
Darren Impleton, of Muirfield Road, South Oxhey, was sent to prison by Bromley Magistrates’ Court on June 9 after he was found guilty of three charges of assault by beating in London.
The 54-year-old had denied all three charges, one for between December 1, 2022, and January 25, 2023, and two separate charges for January 25, 2023, and February 19, 2023, at Bexley Magistrates’ Court on February 20. Impleton was found guilty at the same court on April 20.

- Plan to turn town centre restaurant building into shop and flats
The offences were judged “so serious”, according to court documents, because of the “profound impact on the victim and domestic context”.
The same woman was the victim in each assault.
He was given four weeks in prison for each charge to be served consecutively.
Impleton was also ordered to pay a £154 victim services surcharge and a restraining order was made, lasting until 2038.
