TV actor Will Mellor shared a video of “lovely British Summer” when he experienced flooding at Watford Junction Station yesterday.
The Two Pints of Larger and a Packet of Crips alumni uploaded a video on Instagram following yesterday’s downpour that brought Watford to much of stand still.
At the start of the video, he was filming in the tunnel that leads from the ticket barriers to the platforms.
Later, the video is of Will walking under the tunnel to the car park where he said: “It’s flooded… I’m nearly knee deep in” water.
The video, which rounds off with him finding the funny side to the situation, has amassed 14,116 likes.
Warning: The video below has some swearing in it.
There was no mention as to why the Cheshire-based star was in Watford yesterday.
Travel chaos swept across Watford when a thunderstorm and heavy showers took hold.
Watford Junction was shut for about an hour from around 3.17pm, with disruption and cancellations.
Roads including Radlett Road, Bushey Mill Lane, the A41, and Balmoral Road were also shut with Hertfordshire Constabulary warning motorists to generally avoid any large, flooded areas.
The police said it had been experiencing “a high volume of 999 emergency calls involving cars being stuck in flooded roads in Watford”.
