An application for a 15-metre high 5G pole in Bushey has been withdrawn after a committee recommended it be refused.
The application, at the junction of Herne Road and Coldharbour Lane, Bushey, included two equipment cabinets with an associated meter cabinet and ancillary development.
It was withdrawn yesterday after the committee asked for WHP Telecoms, the company applying to install the pole, to include more details regarding noise control installation.
The planning application had received seven objections after it was submitted on May 16.
It isn’t the only 5G pole to have been withdrawn recently.
In April, one application for a pole to be erected opposite St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School in Ainsdale Road, South Oxhey was subject to “310 signed objection letters”.

- Five acre 'doggy day care' to open soon — with Watford bus service
The plan was withdrawn after two people, who claimed to have gathered the objection letters, also protested outside the school gates.
However, in May, Three UK was granted permission to build an 18-metre 5G after the company launched an appeal when the council initially blocked the planning application.
No objections were submitted to the council while the application was considered.
