A 39-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault after a woman in her 20s was found with cuts to her head.
Hertfordshire Constabulary area investigating the circumstances of how, just before 9.30pm on Saturday (June 3), the woman was found with cuts to her head and feet in Little Oxhey Lane, South Oxhey.
The man, from London, was released on police bail after his arrest, while enquiries continue.

Appealing for any witnesses and information today (June 9), Detective Constable Lee Whale, who is investigating, said: “I’d like to hear from anyone who was in the Little Oxhey Lane area and witnessed this incident.
“It is believed those involved were known to each other.
