A cyclist was hospitalised with "serious injuries" after being knocked to the ground in a hit-and-run.
Hertfordshire Constabulary have today (June 7) called for a driver to come forward after they were involved in a crash with the cyclist in Valley Road, at the junction with Berry Lane, Rickmansworth, at around 7.40pm on June 3.
“The cyclist fell to the floor and was taken to hospital with serious injuries,” police said, adding that the driver failed to stop.

PC Victoria Robinson said: “Our enquiries are continuing at this time and we are appealing for the driver to come forward.
“I’d also like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have captured dash cam footage.
“If you have any information at all which may assist us in identifying the driver or vehicle, please get in touch.”
