A 37-year-old has been arrested after knife reports sparked an armed police search.
Hertfordshire Constabulary arrested a man after being called to a “dispute involving two people who are believed to be known to each other” in Rickmansworth High Street this morning (May 31).
No injuries were reported but it was alleged that one of the people involved had a knife.

Update: The man was arrested on suspicion of two public order offences and common assault, police have confirmed.
The force had been called at around 10.40am and said the suspect remained outstanding at around 2pm, before confirming a man was in custody just before 2.30pm.
Specially trained armed response officers were deployed to help with the search.
It follows another manhunt earlier this week, in the Forest Road area of North Watford on Monday (May 29), after a clash left a teenager hospitalised with “stab wounds”.
The injured 18-year-old’s injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
