Armed police are searching a town centre after reports of a "dispute" involving a knife.
Hertfordshire Constabulary has confirmed that specially trained armed police have been deployed to the Rickmansworth High Street area in response to reports of a “dispute involving two people who are believed to be known to each other”.
No injuries were reported but it was alleged that one of the people involved had a knife.

The force had been called at around 10.40am this morning and confirmed the reason this afternoon (May 31).
There is currently still an increased police presence while the force investigates and searches the area. The suspect has not yet been found.
Anyone with any information is asked to report it by calling 101 quoting ISR 246 of 31/05.
It follows another search this week, in the Forest Road area of North Watford on Monday (May 29), after a clash left a teenager hospitalised with “stab wounds”.
The injured 18-year-old’s injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
