A new business looks set to open in a £45,000 per year former High Street bank unit.
The 107 to 109 High Street unit in Rickmansworth used to be home to the town’s Santander bank but has been left vacant since it closed down in July 2021.
It was put on the market earlier this year and is now “under offer”, as of last week, according to property agents Perry Holt.

This usually means an acceptable offer was submitted for the property but not everything is finalised in the deal.
The business looking to open in the town is not known at this early stage, but the Watford Observer understands it will be a commercial business filling the high street building.
The unit includes a ground floor shop of 1,300 square feet, roughly half the size of a tennis court, and is on the market with a £45,000 per year price tag.
When the location closed, a Santander spokesperson said: “Our customers are continuing to change the way they manage their money.
“As well as using our branches, many more of our customers find it convenient to do their day-to-day banking using online, mobile or telephone banking.
“As a result, customers are visiting our branches much less. This change has been happening over a number of years now and has accelerated in recent times.”
