A woman has been charged after reports of theft, smashed glass and staff being assaulted at Asda Watford.
Yamama Njie, 25, has been charged with assault, theft, and criminal damage after Hertfordshire Constabulary were called to the St Albans Road supermarket at around 10pm on Wednesday (May 24).
It was reported that a person had attempted to take items without paying for them, smashed a glass door and assaulted a member of security.
Njie, of no fixed abode, is due to appear at St Albans Magistrates Court on June 30.

Separate arrest
The next day (May 25), Hertfordshire Constabulary arrested a man in his 40s in St Albans Road, Watford, at around 6pm, on suspicion of making threats to kill.
Four police cars were in St Albans Road, according to a passer-by, near the junctions with Ridge Street and Gammons Lane.
He was in police custody as of yesterday morning (May 26).
Before the arrest, at 5.30pm, the force had been called to what they described as "an altercation" at a property in Queens Road.
