Locals have been reminded to double check their bin collection dates due to the bank holiday.
With the upcoming spring bank holiday Monday, on May 29, Watford Borough Council has asked people to make sure they put their bins out one day later during the week.
For example, a resident whose bin is usually emptied on a Monday will have it done on a Tuesday instead, while Friday collections will take place on Saturday.

The same will be true of Three Rivers collections, Hertsmere collections, and Dacorum collections.
The system will return to normal on Monday June 5.
Unlike changes for the Coronation bank holiday, on May 8, the spring bank holiday has already been factored into paper copies of bin timetables, so resident can still follow those.
The coronation bank holiday changes were not in collection calendars as they were published before the official date for the Coronation was announced.
