Ofsted has inspected these eight Watford area schools so far this year – with seven found to be 'good'.
With so many good results in the area, Watford can feel proud of its local pupils and teachers.
See the year's reports below:
Knutsford Primary Academy
Balmoral Road, Watford
The primary jumped up to a ‘good’ rating after an inspection in January.
Before becoming an academy in 2018, it had been found to require improvement in 2017.
Bushey Manor
Grange Road, Bushey
The most recent report on the list, Bushey Manor Junior School impressed, with its quality of pastoral care being found to be a particular strength.
Ofsted confirmed it had kept its ‘good’ rating when it published a report on May 19.
Ascot Road Primary School
Ascot Road, Watford
This school saw an ungraded inspection, in February, and kept its ‘good’ rating.
However, inspectors added that “the evidence gathered suggests that the inspection grade might not be as high if a graded inspection were carried out now”.
The next inspection will therefore be graded.
The Grove Academy
Fourth Avenue, Watford
The Grove Academy was inspected over two days in November, last year, before Ofsted labelled the curriculum “underdeveloped” in some subjects, in a report published in late February.
The school confirmed it had made a complaint to Ofsted over the grade.

Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School and Nursery
Merry Hill Road, Bushey
As the school kept its ‘good’ rating, after an inspection in March, Ofsted noticed pupils “enjoy coming to school” and “look forward to learning”.
Little Reddings Primary School
Harcourt Road, Bushey
“Little Reddings Primary School is a welcoming school with a ‘can-do’ attitude,” inspectors said earlier this month, as an ungraded report meant the school kept its ‘good’ rating.
Little Green Junior School
Lincoln Drive, Croxley Green
This school also kept its ‘good’ rating after a second ungraded inspection in a row since it was found 'good' in 2013.
Kingsway Infants' School
North Approach, Watford
After another ungraded inspection, this school continues to be good for the third inspection running, and Ofsted didn’t find evidence that had slipped.
