An 87-year-old was left in distress after a thief stole her purse and used her bank card.
Hertfordshire Constabulary shared a CCTV image showing a man they want to identify today (May 22) after the purse was stolen while its owner was shopping in the Sainsbury's in London Road, Apsley, between 2.30pm and 3.05pm on April 12.
The victim's bank card was then used in the nearby Bottle N Basket and Apsley News, both in London Road.

PCSO Nigel Haggar said: “This was a distressing incident for the victim and she lost over £200.
“We believe the man pictured may have been in the area around the time and we are appealing for anyone who recognises him to get in touch.
“He could have crucial information.”
Anyone who recognises the man in the picture is asked to report this by calling 101, quoting crime reference 41/29459/23.
Attempted burglary
Police are also seeking information relating to an attempted burglary in Horseshoe Lane, Watford, on Saturday (May 20).
It was reported that someone gained entry to a property between 10.30pm and 11.30pm, although nothing was stolen.
The force added that the suspect(s) made off in an unknown direction.
