Locals have until June 12 to share their views on potential parking restrictions after businesses petitioned for change.
The area around Croxley Station in Croxley Green has seen its share of parking controversy as people can struggle to find a spot when visiting nearby shops. A new proposal to change existing "limited waiting" restrictions to pay-and-display aims to help tackle the issue.

Under the plan, motorists would be able to park for up to four hours from Monday to Saturday, with the first hour free, and no return within two hours.

The council said: “Whilst the proposal will not create more physical parking spaces in the area, it will enable customers and the public to visit the local shops and also improve parking turnover in the existing bays.”

A map of the proposed areas was shared, with the area outside 200 – 208 Watford Road, 186 – 190 Watford Road, and 7 – 13 Frankland Road to see restrictions.
Parking rules for the side of 198 Watford Road, in Hazelwood Road, and the area opposite Ascot Court in Winton Drive would also be changed.
Views can be submitted via the council website or by requesting a paper copy of the survey form.
