Repair work is set for next week after a lorry driver "ruined" a grass verge — with the company set to pay.
The Greene King-branded HGV was photographed by a resident as it mounted the pavement and verge, leaving the grass "churned up" in Langley Hill, Kings Langley, at around 12pm on May 3.
Yesterday (May 17), Dacorum Borough Council confirmed the pub and brewing giant has been invoiced for the cost of next week's repairs, after it offered to pay on the day it happened.

A Greene King spokesperson had said: “The driving shown in these pictures is unacceptable and we would like to arrange payment for the repairs that are required to the verge.
“The driver of this vehicle was employed by GXO, our third-party supply chain partner, and we are addressing this situation with them as a priority.”
The extraordinary manoeuvre, photographed by a passer-by, was apparently prompted by parked cars in the road leading to High Street.
Outraged Kings Langley residents described mounting the verge as “crazy”, “stupid” and “terrible”.
The passer-by said: “Two cars were parked opposite each other on Langley Hill and the lorry couldn't get through.
“Rather than asking the cars behind to back up, the driver drove around the parked car up onto the verge, churning it up.”
