Six fire crews battled a blaze that ripped through a farm building in Kings Langley.
It happened at around around 1.40am yesterday (May 16) in Ballspond Farm, Chipperfield Road, with the first engine arriving within 10 minutes.
Herts Fire and Rescue Service said it tackled the "well-developed" fire in an agricultural building at the back of the farm.

A spokesperson said it was "particularly challenging" due to the building containing asbestos, and crews fought hard to prevent the fire spreading.
"Thanks to the prompt arrival and swift action of the initial crews the fire was contained to the building of origin and did not spread to other areas of the property," they added.
A investigation has been launched to establish the cause and origin.
