Four people arrested in connection with a drugs bust that triggered a large police presence in North Watford have been bailed.
Hertfordshire Constabulary were called to reports of suspicious activity at an address in Sheepcot Lane at around 4.10am on May 12 and made the arrests.
Later that day, a police spokesperson said: “Officers attended and found a large-scale cannabis factory inside the property, which is currently in the process of being cleared.”

Yesterday (May 15), the force confirmed that they had been bailed, but added that the value of the seized drugs is still not known. Officers are still investigating.
Several residents described the scene on social media with one saying they saw “about 20 different police vehicles there” which remained in the road for hours.
Officers are still investigating.
Hertfordshire Constabulary has been contacted for more information. Updates to follow.
